Hosted library updates
If
Innovative hosts your Polaris or Vega system, do not renew your SSL
certificates this year! Going forward, they will be provided by us!
Your IT team will need to make a one-time change to your DNS setup,
which we will guide you through, and we’ll take care of your SSL
renewal each year. We hope this will be a welcome change—reducing
your library expenses and staff administrative time.
If
you have an upcoming certificate renewal deadline or any questions, please open a ticket with our support team.
Software-only
libraries: Please continue to purchase SSL
certificates and submit them to us using our documented processes on Supportal (login
required) – no changes.

Innovative has partnered with LibraryIQ to provide analytics through
the Vega Library Experience (LX) platform. LibraryIQ
is an analytics and reporting solution that uses real-time data to
provide insights about collection management, service development,
patron engagement, and strategic planning.
With
a web-based platform, LibraryIQ's insights
empower staff to make data-driven decisions that ensure budget
optimization while understanding and meeting user needs, tailoring
collections and resources to their local community using a powerful
combination of data related to patron engagement, demographics,
collections, metrics, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
information.
LibraryIQ will discuss their solution
and provide a demo on our upcoming webinar: Register for the May 21 webinar here.
