Webinar Recap: Introducing the Library Experience Starter Package

Since first being announced at IUG 2022, Innovative has been hard at work preparing the launch of the Library Experience (LX) Starter Package—a modern approach to circulation and account-related email communications.

Earlier this month, Toni Minick, Vice President of Product Management, and Tom Jacobson, VP, Executive Library Advocate & Strategist, hosted an introductory webinar that highlighted the basics of LX Starter.

As part of Innovative’s continued commitment to improving functionality and increasing value for our customers, LX Starter will be made available for all Sierra and Polaris customers who want it and who get upgrades to Sierra 5.5 or Polaris 7.3 in Q3 2022.

More information about getting LX Starter, including directions on how to request, implement, and utilize the LX Starter suite, will be sent to libraries soon.

Central Arkansas Library System Sends First Vega Promote Patron Email

How easy is it to use Vega Promote? ‘It's just a jump to the left.’

We’d like to congratulate the team at the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) on becoming the first Innovative library to use Vega Promote to email their patrons — about their screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!



Nathan James, Deputy Executive Director for Technology & Collection Innovation at CALS, told Innovative that he’s excited to say goodbye to sending out plain and boring Outlook emails. He added that it was fascinating to watch the stats update after the email campaign was sent.
