Vega Promote Web releases new interface, updated apps for discovery & events
 

There are three new drag-and-drop apps with integrations for discovery and library events within the Vega Promote Web website-building solution. The app releases include:

  • Vega Discover Showcases – Four new designs for collection showcases, larger cover art, and improved performance.
  • Vega Discover search – There are now two options; a search box that searches only the catalog, or an integrated search box where users can search the catalog or the library website.
  • Vega Program events – You can now display the next three chronological events at the library, or show a search panel and form where users can search all events.

Clarivate "Voice of Customer" survey
 

The Clarivate Voice of Customer survey is a twice-annual survey of a portion of Clarivate customers, including Innovative customer libraries.

Some Innovative customers will receive an email from Bar Veinstein, Clarivate's Academia & Government Segment President, inviting them to complete the survey, which runs through June 7.

Not every Innovative library will receive the survey, but those who do should know that the survey applies to their relationship with Innovative.

Webinar wrap-up: Use the Vega LX suite to connect with your community
 
Innovative recently hosted a webinar detailing how libraries can use Vega Library Experience (LX) modules to deliver a consistent, uniformly branded experience across the digital interactions that patrons have with the library.
Product Managers from Vega Discover, Vega Program, Vega Promote and Vega Promote Web presented a case study to demonstrate the value for libraries in providing a reliable and recognizable library experience for patrons – and how doing so can bolster engagement with library materials, events, and services.

Rochester Hills Public Library uses Vega Promote to modernize patron communication
 
The Rochester Hills Public Library in Michigan has been using Vega Promote, the email marketing tool, to inform and engage their roughly 110,000 patrons.

“Vega Promote is the tool we needed to revolutionize our patron engagement. Using Promote, we can keep in touch with patrons via multi-faceted messaging, and its analytics help us adjust course to maximize our connection,” says Derek Brown, Information Technology Director for RHPL.
