Vega Mobile Worklists represents a major step forward in our mobile-first strategy, expanding staff mobility across Sierra environments.
Designed and currently available for libraries using Sierra, Vega Mobile Worklists enables staff to manage essential circulation and collection workflows directly from a mobile device.
Vega Mobile Worklists delivers the trusted functionality libraries rely on today, now in a modern, streamlined interface aligned with the broader Vega experience.
With real-time access to holds processing, inventory, item editing, and other daily tasks, staff can work more efficiently throughout the library while reducing unnecessary trips back to a workstation.

Vega Mobile Worklists introduces a refreshed and modern mobile experience, including:
- A clean, updated user interface designed for modern iOS and Android devices
- Improved navigation for faster, more intuitive workflows
- Dark mode support, based on your device’s system preferences
What stays the same
To ensure a smooth transition for existing Mobile Worklists users, Vega Mobile Worklists maintains full parity with the legacy Mobile Worklists experience:
- All existing Mobile Worklists functionality remains available
- Staff sign in using their current credentials
- Existing staff-created lists are automatically available in the new app
- Real-time access to holds, inventory, item editing, circulation, and other workflows remains unchanged
Please note: individual app preferences (such as home screen layouts, inventory action defaults, confirmation settings, RFID settings, and item matching criteria) are not migrated and can be easily reconfigured within the new app.
Getting started
Current Sierra Mobile Worklist users can begin using Vega Mobile Worklists immediately:
- Download Vega Mobile Worklists from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Sign in using your existing credentials
- Begin working in the new app – your lists and workflows will be available upon login
Transition timeline
The legacy Sierra Mobile Worklists app will remain available until May 4, 2026, providing a transition period to support staff as they move to the new Vega Mobile Worklists experience.
