We’re excited to introduce the Vega Discover Preview Environment, which gives libraries early access to upcoming enhancements.
Vega Discover Preview is designed as a shared preview environment where libraries can explore, test, and coach their staff on new functionality using their own assigned Collection Site. The Preview environment is separate from any ILS and intended for exploration, so libraries can confidently evaluate what’s coming next. This feature will be available from July.
What can customers expect?
- Included with every Vega Discover subscription
All Vega Discover customers have access to Preview at no additional cost.
- Collection Site customization support
Customers can test Collection Site configurations, including custom headers and footers.
- A space to preview upcoming features
Release notes will identify which features are available in Preview and which have moved to General Availability.
- Access to Vega Discover Premium
Preview environments use Vega Discover Premium functionality. Customers may see features beyond their current subscription level, offering an opportunity to explore additional capabilities.
By giving staff time to explore and prepare in advance, Vega Discover Preview helps reduce the friction of new releases, so libraries can adopt new capabilities faster, train staff more effectively, and deliver a smoother experience for patrons from day one.
