Innovative is pleased to announce the launch of Polaris Release 6.7, now featuring the ability to copy bibliographic records from external databases, make bulk changes to bibliographic records in Leap, and the ability to create holds for multiple patrons via record sets.
In Polaris 6.7, library staff will now be able to copy bibliographic records from external databases to add to Polaris. Polaris users will also now be able to make bulk changes to bibliographic records in Leap, bringing Leap closer to full parity with the Polaris staff client. The new ability to add a hold to a single title for multiple patrons at once through patron record sets originated with an Idea Lab entry.
Other features in Polaris 6.7 include support for copying system administration configuration settings as part of the database synchronization job, and some behind-the-scenes changes to improve accessibility in Leap.
Polaris customers interested in planning an upgrade should contact their Site Manager at 1-877-857-1978, or use our online contact form to learn more.
