Innovative, part of Clarivate and leading global provider of library software, announced today that Thousand Oaks Library has joined the Vega Development Partner program.
Thousand Oaks Library has two locations that serve over 1.5 million visitors each year. They are known for the large saltwater aquarium at their main location, and are also beloved for story times, dog days with certified therapy dogs, multiple opportunities for crafting, classes for new parents, technology training classes, literacy, and more.
“Engaging with our community is part of the library’s mission, so when we had the opportunity to participate as a Vega Engagement development partner, it really was a perfect fit. We need contemporary tools that help us convey the full value of the library to our community, and I look forward to working with Innovative to help shape those tools,” says Melissa Hurtado, Interim Library Director, Thousand Oaks Library.
Vega LX is developed in partnership with global leading libraries to create a complete library experience for staff, patrons, donors, and citizens. Development Partners help shape Vega’s development through advisory discussions, usability testing, and beta testing. The Vega Engagement Development Partner program is focused on Vega Interact, Promote, and Program.
Vega works seamlessly with Sierra and Polaris. To learn more, read our eBook “Re-imagining the Library Experience,” or visit the Innovative website.
