Innovative Announces Official Sponsorship of the Library Leadership Podcast
EMERYVILLE, Calif. August 13, 2020 – Innovative, a ProQuest company and leading global provider of library software, has announced its exclusive sponsorship of the Library Leadership Podcast.
The Library Leadership Podcast was started in 2017 by host Adriane Herrick-Juarez and producer Nate Vineyard to broaden the way we talk and think about leadership in libraries. The goal is for everyone to have access to thought-provoking conversations with national and global library leaders.
Currently the Executive Director of the Park City Library in Utah, Herrick-Juarez has worked in the industry for over 30 years. She started as a library page and held various positions such as associate librarian, branch manager, and director of the MLS program at Emporia State University.
The podcast began as a way of capturing the value of in-person conversations and sharing them with the broader library community. “When I would return from conferences, I would often reflect most on those one-on-one conversations in the hallways where I felt I would really learn something interesting,” said Herrick-Juarez. “I was excited by the way people share informally and I think the podcast gives that informal, up close and personal conversation with people who are doing amazing things.”
