Middle Country Public Library (MCPL) in Long Island, New York operates using a flexible model of library service that is consumer driven and has given rise to new and innovative service models. MCPL offers comprehensive programs and services to local residents and provides leadership and training for libraries across Long Island and the nation. In 2020, they offered 2,499 programs, circulated 453,772 items, and conducted 2,700 curbside appointments.
