Innovative Hosts Polaris ILS Webinar for Libraries in Ireland, UK, Australia, and New Zealand

EMERYVILLE, Calif. June 18, 2020 – Innovative, a ProQuest company and leading global provider of library software, will host two webinar sessions June 23 & 24 featuring team members from Marigold Library System in Alberta, Canada to discuss the power of the Polaris integrated library system (ILS) for the 180 members of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC).

Following the exciting announcement that Polaris, the leading solution for public libraries in North America, is now available in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, these webinar sessions will provide an informational overview of Polaris for libraries interested in the system.

The webinar, “Empower Your Public Library with Polaris” has two sessions available:

The webinar will feature three short perspectives from Marigold Library System staff: Michelle Toombs, CEO; Richard Kenig, IT Manager; and Caleigh Haworth, Training & Communications Coordinator. They’ll share their experience with Polaris from implementation to everyday use, and how Polaris supports the consortium. TRAC has been a Polaris customer since 2008, collaboratively serving patrons with 3.2 M resources across 73% of the province.

The popularity of Polaris in North America is due to a combination of rich functionality, ease of use for both staff and patrons, and holistic customer support. According to the 2020 Library Perceptions survey from Marshall Breeding’s Library Technology Guides, “Polaris continues to be well appreciated by large public libraries, earning top rankings in general satisfaction, overall functionality, print and digital resource management.”*

Libraries interested in learning more about Polaris can download a fact sheet or request a short online demo.
