Innovative, part of Clarivate, is pleased to announce that Hastings Public Library in Nebraska has selected Vega Program as their new event management and room booking tool.
The Hastings Public Library (HPL) serves the approximately 31,000 residents of the city of Hastings and Adams County, Nebraska in an award-winning building. Hastings Public Library’s programs include story times, author talks, writing workshops, LEGO club, subscription packs for Young Adult readers, and the Makerspace, which offers equipment for members of the community to make and customize art, clothing, and more. HPL also provides a mobile library, featuring a bookmobile that travels to schools, daycares, and preschools across the county and a home delivery service that brings materials straight to the door of those that can’t make it into the library.
“We were looking for an intuitive and engaging software to promote our programs and manage our room bookings and Vega Program had the features we were looking for,” said Amy Dissmeyer, Hastings Public Library Director.
Vega Program is designed to give libraries full control of their event management and attendee communications, all with a sleek, modern interface for both library staff and patrons. While Vega Program works great with the Sierra and Polaris integrated library systems (ILSs), you can use Vega Program with any ILS.
