At the end of April 2026, Innovative, from Clarivate, hosted two webinars highlighting the latest enhancements and fixes released for Vega Mobile and Vega Program since the beginning of the year, along with a preview of upcoming developments.
In the Vega Mobile webinar, Ashley Barey, VP of Product Management, was joined by Shelbi Shollenberger and Andrew Daye from the Solus team. Shelbi emphasized the importance of keeping your library app updated to the latest version available in the App Store to ensure access to new functionality and performance improvements.
One of the key features released in April was the new User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Environment, designed to give both single and consortia libraries a safe sandbox for staff training and feature testing without affecting the live app. You can read more about the UAT environment here.
The webinar also covered several other enhancements introduced this year, including:
- Show/Hide Password functionality on the login screen
- PayPal support
- The ability to add Vega Discover Showcase Carousels directly into the library app

In the Vega Program webinar, Ashley Barey was joined by Andrew Johnson from the Solus team to discuss recently released features as well as upcoming improvements. One notable enhancement allows patrons to add events they plan to attend directly to their phone wallet as QR codes, enabling staff to quickly scan attendees and streamline event management.
The session also explored additional updates aimed at improving both staff workflows and the overall patron journey. Watch the webinar here to discover everything released so far this year and what’s coming next for the Vega Program.
